Slice of SciFi favorite Mila Jovovich will join actress Brittany Snow in the upcoming big-screen adapation of the horror-survival video-game “Clocktower.”Â
According to Bloody Disguisting, Jovovich will play “a woman in a psych ward who befriends the lead character, played by Snow, when they discover a shared family history. Meanwhile a psychotic madman dubbed Scissorman is pursuing her and keeping the family curse going strong.”
Mark Weisz is set to direct a script by Eric Poppen and filming is set to begin next month.

There are wide-spread, unconfirmed reports that the first trailer with footage from “Star Trek” could hit theaters on November 14. The trailer is rumored to be attached to the upcoming James Bond thriller, “Quantum of Solace.”

Series writer Keith Champagne promises fans “back to basics” approach to the stories

Classic “Doctor Who” fans won’t have to wait long into 2009 to enjoy two new releases of the classic show on DVD.  On January 4, the first Doctor battles “The War Machines” while the fifth Doctor battles evil aliens bent on invading the Earth in “Four to Doomsday.” Both are four-part stories and will be single disc releases and retail for $19.95.
