“The Zula Patrol” is an animated series on NBC Universal’s qubo.com that ignites children’s interest in science and astronomy.
Deborah Manchester, series creator for “The Zula Patrol,” is our guest for Slice of SciFi Show #173 on Saturday, August 9 and again on Sirius XM Radio, Monday August 19. Manchester says that the reason she brought the series into existence was “…to inspire a love of science in young children. Baker an actor who worked with Kilmer on the film “Red Planet” and now he will be headlining the cast for the new CBS weekly series in the fall called “The Mentalist.” For the Future we have an update about the Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer collaboration called “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time,” starring Jake Gyllenhaal. A new film from the pen of David S. Goyer (“Ghost Rider,” “Blade: The Series”) begins production and is called “The Unborn.”
