The newest entry in BenBella Books’ Smart Pop Books series, So Say We All: An Unauthorized Collection of Thoughts and Opinions on Battlestar Galactica, should be on your bookstore shelves this week.
shameless plug: This volume contains BSG essays by some of your favorite podcasting geeks, Mur Lafferty, Tee Morris, and Slice of SciFi’s own Summer Brooks.
There are also essays by Jacob Clifton of Television Without Pity, fantasy authors Matthew Woodring Stover, Kristine Kathryn Rusch and Jody Lynn Nye, Pyr’s Lou Anders, and many more, including guest editor Richard Hatch.
If you’ve never checked out any of the books in the Smart Pop series, what are you waiting for?
If you don’t mind my suggestion, and you’re a BSG fan, start with this book. Then, I highly recommend the “Star Wars On Trial”, “Finding Serenity”, and “Five Seasons of Angel” collections next, followed closely by the Farscape and Stargate collections. After you’ve finished with those, pick your next favorite geekdom and keep reading. There are plenty to choose from, with more being added every year.

Well, if Summer is in the book, I’ll have to get it!!!
Tho I likely would have gotten it anyway ๐
I’ve _loved_ the smart pop series so far and have eagerly awaited the next installment. Great to see them tackle BSG now! Woohoo!

Just so’s you know, I picked up a copy of the book on my lunch break only because of Summer and Tee’s articles.
I’m easily influenced like that. ๐
