Production on the sequel to Wolverine, The Wolverine has been pushed back.

Deadline reports that 20th Century Fox has pushed back the start date on the film from this fall to early next year.

While not the first superhero movie of the summer, X-Men First Class will be the first superhero movie to hit home theater this year.

20th Century Fox announced at ComicCon that the movie will hit DVD and Blu-Ray on Friday, September 9.

Vaughn Says “First Class” Will Be Like “Batman Begins”

Director Matthew Vaughn is taking a page from director Christopher Nolan’s book when it comes to “X-Men: First Class.” Vaughn tells MTV News that the upcoming film is an origin story that will feel different from other origin stories we’ve seen before.
