Over the weekend, rumors sprang up that singer Justin Bieber was being considered for a starring role in a remake of "Back to the Future."

Before you yell, "Great Scott!" and go into a flurry of reboot rage, please don't worry.

Shouldn't there be some kind of statute of limitations on how long a franchise has to wait before it gets the reboot?
