John Constantine is the latest DC “hero” to come to life on screen, and it’s starting to seem to me that while Marvel owns the movie box office, DC is taking names in the television realm.
Warner Bros announced the main lineup for Suicide Squad on Tuesday; the film’s release date is slated for Aug 5, 2016. The film adaptation of a team of supervillains had been revealed earlier this year, but today’s announcement settles some of the casting rumors that had been floating around ever since.
This week’s guest is Camren Bicondova, the young actress who plays Selina Kyle on FOX’s Gotham. The show is just going into winter hiatus, but Camren talks about how much fun she’s having playing the girl who will grow up to be Catwoman, and about learning all she can about the Batman universe and all the crazy characters who live there.
A prequel that doesn’t feature the most popular comics character possibly ever created? A show focused on a supporting character in no way as popular as that other, incredibly popular character? Starring that kid from The O.C.? What’s up with that and who the heck thought it would work?
