Who do networks do that? Ads are annoying enough, do they have to be for the same show I am WATCHING?!?!?!

Open to interpetation. Man has been on earth for many of years,Who is not to think that we have not been in this advanced state of humanity before, and maybe, just thinking out of the box, if the skulls were made by rotorey tools, that we have now,and maybe we had them long before. Is it at all possiable that it is a message from the last surviving Humans romming the earth running from ther own disaster. SOUND FAMILIAR ISNT THAT WHAT WE FACE TODAY. We rebuild everything . Why would we not be inclined to rebuild HUMANITY, and all that was . We will probably need to do it a couple more times, if we dont kill the great place we all love first.

I wouldn't mind some more trek interviews or Bruce Campbell.
Some older voice mail shows might be interesting.
I get crankier when I can't listen to new Slice, dagnabit. Sometimes I catch myself listening to Foxleader stuff and trying to figure out "The Code".

We have watched the first two episodes, with a multi-day pause between 1 & 2 (even though they were aired together!) I have to admit that my wife was reluctant to watch it, but after the first episode, she was even MORE reluctant to watch the next (hence the gap) I can't say that I tried really hard to convince her either, because I wasnt sure I cared to watch the rest of it. The promise of answers in ep 6 might just lure us to watch the rest, but maybe at the rate of 1 per week or so.

I can't think of a reason to pump any old episodes into the pipe. If people want to listen to old episodes because they have time and just need a fix they can download them from http://www.sliceofscifi.com/category/shows/

Ms. Benson I have news for you: The "small" but vocal group of critics are growing. What may dismissed as a small but vocal group may be the very factor of there being no season 2. SG and SGA were good for a reason because the appeal to intelligence with other worlds, races, weapons, technology which captured more than just a "geek" audience. SGU has taken the concept of SG and "dumbed" it down to cliched plots, teenage angst and a bunch people who really have no business in a classified area let alone a piece of Ancient technology.
Let it stand on its own but Stargate it is NOT

I have to say, I'm for zero too. Much as I appreciate it, there is too much on my podcast plate to be listening to old shows. Now, if you were to produce a new episode per week as a bonus, it would be a different story. That's what I'm doing on my podcast. We're premiering The Twelve Days of Riftmas on December 13th on The Chronic Rift. Each day there will be a new, brief episode with geeky goodness to pass the time until Christmas Eve where we've got a special guest doing his rendition of "Twas the Night Before Christmas".

I would prefer not to have any "legacy" shows in my feed. I struggle to listen to all the new content that comes out every week. However it really isn't a big deal for me to just delete out the extra shows without listening to the repeats. So if some people would enjoy the additional shows and you are willing to do them, that is great. Just please clearly label these "legacy" shows so that those who do not want to listen again to something we have already heard can delete it immediately.

I don't read the comics either, but maybe he's looking into new career paths.

The new version of that Discovery Channel ad, with a lot of the different show personalities singing "I Love the Whole World", has Optimus Prime saying "boom-de-ya-da, boom-de-ya-da" in the middle, and it cracks me up every time.

Similar to Tony - zero is a good number for me. I have plenty of podcasts to listen to, and I don't usually have any interest in re-listening to any.

Extra "legacy" episodes sound like they would be great...the only problem is not only will I be 100 miles away from home but I'll also be 100 miles away from my desktop computer, the one I sync my iPod up to. Which makes it harder for me to hear them. Any chance we can get a handful of episodes all in a big dump, preferably sometime before 23 December?

This new Doctor looks as if he's a bit "silly" over the role, getting over exited and childish over a role. If this affects his acting, which i suspect it will, Moffat's got a pretty big problem, as viewing figures will drop to the floor! I certainly won't watch anymore, as i've now got some stupid kid being silly and giggly all over the screen, trying to act a little like the eccentric Tennant in his latest series, but messing it up. It's time to grow up, Doctor Who. Let's keep him youthful, but not too young, and show a little of that William Hartnell-Sylvester McCoy wisdom, shall we?
Doctor Who Producers: Noooooooooooooooo!!! We want to appeal to kidssss! We want to irritate parents!! We want to spoil the lives of 1960's Doctor Who fanatics! Let's trash the decades-old legacy of Doctor Who, and make sure we wreck it for everyone, and stamp it into the ground!!!!!!!!!!
I ask you, where's Rowan Atkinson when you need him?!
