This has been going on for years. I am getting tired of all these newbie fans freaking out every time the Doctor regenerates. It isn't the first time. Out of all the Doctors there was really only one I didn't care for and that a pretty good success record as far as I am concerned. You'd think this being round number three for even newer fans that they'd be used to it by now.

I am unable to watch anything with Mr. Cage anymore. Four words keep going though my mind over and over whenever I see him.

"How'd it get burned? How'd it get burned???"

Maybe they can combine Ghost Rider with the Wickerman.

Neill Blomkamp might be able to pull it off. I just hope they don't trim away too much of the plots within plots that made the original novel such a rereadable wonder.

It looks great. I can't wait to see the whole thing. I though it was just going to be people in cheesy costumes, but the use of animation, story boards and even twitter really makes this a must see for me.

I don't think they need to make any more star wars... the prequels were a bit of a letdown. Especially Attack of the Clones, I love Star Wars but that movie was just plain not good. And they seriously need to get some better actors if they're going to make a new set, not some actors that sound like they're reading the lines for the first time while filming... I agree with the previous comments, movies based of the Old Republic might be interesting to see, just don't make things worse. The Empire Strikes Back.. that's all I have to say.

My wife and I just saw "A Christmas Carol" and really enjoyed it. It was very faithfull to the book and mostly just used the 3D to add dept to the picture. I was pleased with the movie and plan on seeing it again with friends.

this show has alot of promise. i just wish all of you would give it a season or 2. who knows what the other episodes hold(aliens, ships, who knows).so far it is getting better in my opinion. although i have to agree dr.rush has to go. sg1 got better after every episode. just my 2 cents sometimes not worth the mouth it came out of but its mine.

The whole film is crap really, the ending doubly so. but I suppose that if fear is an illogical feeling and usually based on nothing sensible at all, a mediocre horror film must be something similar...

Bedknobs and Broomsticks would have had my vote if it was there (partly animated so I can understand why it wasn't). The Neverending Story was my second pick, so it was nice to see it listed. I can really see some of the other suggestions as strong contenders: Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, and Narnia.

Come on peoples, you're trashing it after, what, 4 episodes? You can't tell me that the first 4 episodes of SG-1 weren't some of the worst SF ever made, but you all seem to have forgotten that in your rush to trash this series. So you hate SG-U but you enjoyed SG-1's 'emancipation' and 'broca divide' episodes? Really? OMG those two are just about unwatchable! SG-1 improved as it went and SG-U will too.

While I'm going to miss Tennant's Doctor, I trust that Moffat and co. have hired good actors to carry on the series. The Moff is a huge Who fanboy and the writer of many of the reincarnation's best episodes. He lived through the JNT years. He won't mess it up.

So it wasn't terrible but I wasn't expecting it to suck, I however was disapointed that it seemed rushed. The thing I liked about the introduction to The Vistors in the mini-series was that there was some actually suspense. They were gradually filtered into human society instead of just "bam! Here's Anna!" Yeah so I thought their introduction could have been handled better. Over all, it's not a bad re-launch and by the way, no spoiler intended but the eyes on the sides of the head are much cooler.

Looking at it from that point of view (not supposed to be dark or too deep) might keep me watching. You have a point that we have enough deep/dark scifi. Perhaps thinking of this show in a lighter way is a good thing. I don't have to keep track of intricate plot twists or put together clues.

I can just enjoy this for what it is-Us vs Them.

I thought it was fun. Nothing I saw leading up to it made it out to be the next replacement for (fill in the blank). I was looking forward to it because it was going to be a fun alien invasion type show and not yet another stressful show (which I am also a fan of but already have a number in my schedule). It was nice to see Elizabeth Mitchell again and I loved how I somehow missed the fact certain other actors I liked were going to be in it. I was also surprised at how gory parts were. Maybe that was just me though. It was unexpected.

Will it still be Nicholas Cage? The first one wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible either.

Underwhelmed. CGI - good. Characters and plotting - ordinary. Alan Tudyk - wasted. Felt like I've seen it all before - oh yeah, I have - anybody remember an old tv show called V? It was better paced and lead nicely up to the big reveal. Season 2 was crap and it looks like the new producers have skipped the good stage and gone right to crap. I think possibly in this iteration they decided we knew what was coming so they decided to get it out of the way early but in doing so may it seem rushed and forced. I had hopes for this. The teasers made me go all goose bumpy. Morena Baccarin was delightfully lizzard like (in a good way). Premise - dumb - they want our water? Didn't they fly past the outer planets and the 4 or 5 moons out there that have about 10 bazillion times more water than on the deep deep gravity well that is earth?

Yeah, I know I've only watched one episode. We still have to compare this to the first episode of BSG which was like... wow, more please.

*spoilers*
A reptoid wanting to get married was just weird. Just because I may get dressed up as a furry doesn't mean I want to marry a sheep (why do they call me Ahmed the sheep shagger?). Dude you're wearing a people suit!?
Same reptoid declaring that he didn't want to be part of what ever was happening and it was all in the past for him? Sheeeiit. You're reptoid preparing for an alien invasion and you want to get down on one knee and and and... logic thrown out the window on that one. I won't say much about the cliched Hitler Jugen.

I wish they'd bring "Blade: The Series" back. They were at least able to finish off the first season, but it ended on a cliffhanger.
