Threshold on DVD

An Uncle Sam Review & Recommendation: Question? Why would anyone want to invest their hard-earned bucks into a DVD set of a program that only aired a few shows and left you hanging as to the outcome? Well, it would seem the good folks over at CBS Paramount think there are enough fans of their [...]

Open Letter to Slice of SciFi Fans

Today I got a post from a fan of Slice of SciFi that expressed a bit of disappointment in our last Show #51 and felt that somehow we are beginning to slip and miss the whole point of our show and website. Since, none of us live in a vaccum I have to assume that [...]

Zap had some rather pissy things to say about us. Oddly enough, he sent this to our Dragon Page email addresses, when the topic is clearly TV. Must not have been listening to us for too long or he would have known where to send the mail. Wanna see it? You people call yourselves Sci-Fi [...]

Hail to the Fanboys - Grass Roots & SciFi

As something of a "fanboy advocate," I find Fandom and the hidden power of a fanbase to be a seductive and compelling side of Sci Fi. Unfortunately, it's still the exception rather than the rule where a television series maker will take notice of their core fanbase and purposefully try to toss them a few bones every once in awhile ...

Cry Foul, and let slip the rage of fans

[ This is my commentary on the Enterprise finale. Spoilers may ensue. ] Finally watched the series finale of Enterprise. Well. How was I ripped off by that? Let me count the ways... okay, Shakespeare mode off. I was only a casual viewer of the show, and I still felt horribly ripped off. I can [...]
