The Screen Sirens for Science are on deck for this week! Taryn O’Neill, Tamara Krinsky and Gia Mora join Summer to chat about Scirens, and their efforts to inspire scientifically infused entertainment across all media as a way to advocate for increased STEM education efforts for the population at large as well.
The idea came about after Taryn’s blog post about Actresses for STEM, and the enthusiastic reaction she received from other actresses passionate about science & technology, thus the Scirens arrived.
We talk about their efforts to date, and what they hope to accomplish through current and future projects they are writing, producing or participating in, as well as what fields of science spark their passions.

Interesting… it was there last week (on other episodes), but it looks like one of the updates I did caused it to vanish from all active podcast episodes.
It should be fixed now, and the player did still display in the excerpts on the front page and the category lists. How odd… will have to contact the Blubrry folks about this one 🙂
