The guys at RiffTrax conducted a fan poll to determine the worst movies of 2014, and the results are in! Over 250,000 of their fans weighed in, and their choices were from across the range of genres:
10. 300: Rise of an Empire
9. Noah
8. Sex Tape
7. Ouija (Daren’s review is in this Slice of SciFi show)
6. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (with Noah and Daren’s review)
5. Left Behind
4. A Million Ways to Die in the West
3. Dumb and Dumber To
2. Transformers: Age of Extinction (guess Noah and Daren weren’t alone in not liking that one, you can watch their review, or listen to their review)
1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (and Daren’s review of TMNT)
Hmmm. There sure are a lot of proposed “blockbusters” on that list… or garbage that Hollywood execs thought would be blockbusters because their definitions of quality entertainment don’t match ours? Or maybe our expectations aren’t as low as they’d like them to be?
Either way, I wouldn’t mind seeing some expanded results for this poll, say the Top 25 as voted on by their fans, or anything with 5000 votes or more, just for amusement value.

And if you want to help define a decade’s worst, their Worst Movies of the 90s poll is still open and taking votes.
