The science-fiction thriller Mr. Nobody made its debut at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival and gained critical buzz as the Venice Film Festival. But it’s been sitting on the shelf since that time, looking for a release date.
Starring Jared Leto, the movie tells the story of a 118-year-old man who is the last mortal on Earth who recalls different versions of how his life unfolded. The story unfolds in a non-linear fashion with Mr. Nobody relating the events from three critical periods in his lifetime.
Leto is joined by Sarah Polley, Diane Kruger, Rhys Ifans and Juno Temple in the film.
Written and directed by Jaco Van Dormael, the intriguing sounding genre film is finally getting set for theatrical release this November. But if you’re curious about the movie and don’t want to wait to check it out, Magnolia Studios will release the movie via Video on Demand and iTunes on September 26.
