Pop superstar Justin Bieber has joined the ever growing tally of A-List celebrities getting in line and coughing up the big bucks to be one of the first to go on one of Virgin Galactic suborbital flights.
One of the very first to sign on a few years back was none other than Captain Kirk himself, William Shatner. At a recent appearance in his One Man Show Shatner commented that he signed up so long ago he hopes he is still around when his turn comes up. Shatner is now 82 years old but in excellent health.
Bieber joins other top names in show business such as Ashton Kutcher, Angelina Jolie and hubby Brad Pitt, U.K. singing sensation Sarah Brightman, Tom Hanks, British managing director of General Electric – Alan Watts, director Bryan Singer, Stephen Hawking, actress Victoria Principal and about 600 other top names in the fields of entertainment, science, technology, sports and business.
Virgin Galactic founder and CEO Richard Branson tweeted his congratulations to Bieber yesterday. The only question many are asking – “Is there any chance the Biebs could just stay up there for awhile?”

Hopefully there will be… complications on his re-entry.
It will be an “unfortunate” accident indeed.
I AM implying something here.
