The pair of pants that Hamill wore while filming the first Star Wars movie will go up for auction this week, with an estimated value of $70,000-$100,000.
The pair of “cotton drill” pants made by famed jeans manufacturer Levi Strauss and Co. and were worn by Hamill for much of the filming. The pants are a 29-inch waist and 37 inches in length with two six-inch slits up each side.
Customized by the famous London costumier Bermans & Nathans, they bear an original tag sewn to the inseam reading: “Bermans & Nathans / 40 Camden St., / London N.W. 1.”
“Mark Hamill / 10490 Luke / Star Wars” is printed in type beneath it.
The pair have been sold at least twice before, and went up for bidding online two weeks ago.
