A reboot of 1984’s Gremlins is moving forward.
Rumors that Warner Bros was looking to remake were reported earlier this year and now Bloody Disgusting reports that the studio is “moving ahead” with the production.
Dark Shadows writer Seth Grahame-Smith will reportedly produce the movie alongside David Katzenberg, son of DreamWorks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg.
It is not yet clear who will direct the reboot.
Plans for the reboot are said to have been in place for a while, but were held up while Warner Bros negotiated the rights to the property with Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment.
