Game of Thrones continues to grow in popularity each week — and it’s not just on our TV sets.
Parents are naming their daughters after characters from the popular series.
According to the Social Security Administration’s list of top baby names, the female name with the greatest change in popularity is Arya. According to the list 298 more newborn girls were named that in 2012 than in 2011. That’s 711 reported babies named Arya last year.
The top ten names for girls are much as you’d expect: Sophia, Emma, Isabella, Olivia, Ava, Emily, Abigail, Mia, Madison, Elizabeth.
