According to Movieweb.com, Seth-Graeme Greene posted a photo on both Twitter and Instagram suggesting that he has finally begun writing on the highly anticipated sequel to the 1988 classic comedy, Beetlejuice.
Graeme-Smith, along with his writing partner David Katzenberg, was hired back in 2011 to produce a script for a sequel, which had been languishing in development hell. According to Movieweb.com, “We reported February 2012 that Beetlejuice star Michael Keaton was in negotiations to return as the ghost with the most, although no other cast members have been confirmed. Beetlejuice director Tim Burton has hinted that he may come back to direct, but it’s too early to tell at this stage.”
What can we take from this? Beetlejuice 2 IS in development.
