We’ve told you that a Godzilla reboot is in the works and now we’ve got news on the humans who will headline the monster remake.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, actors Bryan Cranston and Elizabeth Olsen are in talks to the lead roles in the film. They would join Aaron Johnson, who has already signed on for the reboot.
Gareth Edwards is directing the film, which is currently embroiled in a producer dispute. Frank Darabont is currently doing a rewrite on the script.
Cranston will play Johnson’s step-father and Olsen his girlfriend.
The project is heading towards a March production start. Warners, which has a 25 percent stake in the movie, will release the film May 16, 2014.
