“X-Men” Sequel Will Feature a Time Jump

When the X-Men return to the silver screen, fans will find that time has moved forward a decade from the events chronicled in First Class.

Comic Book Movie has acquired a casting note that indicates the action will move forward to 1973.   This means we could see some 70’s era characters interacting with those we met in the first film.

The time jump also gives the writers the chance to eliminate certain characters without too much explanation.  It’s already being reported that January Jones will not be back as Emma Frost.

So, do you like the time jump?  Or do you wish we’d had more time in the 60’s?
