It’s the end of an era. The final Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn, Part 2 opened this weekend with $141.3 million in ticket sales. That easily put the final vampire romance saga installment at the top of the box-office for the weekend.
The film didn’t open as strong as the first half of the two part finale to the franchise, however. But it will probably still make a ton of money before its run is over.
In second place was 007 with Skyfall. The Daniel Craig Bond film took in $41.5 million and is the third highest grossing Bond film of all-time.
Oscar-contender Lincoln got a wider release and took in $21 million. Wreck It Ralph was fourth with $18.3 million and rounding out the top five was Flight.
