After years of starts and stops, could the big-screen adaption of Y: The Last Man finally be gaining some traction in Hollywood?
According to Vulture, New Line has seen a new script for the project and is making a film based on Brian K. Vaughn comic book series a priority. This new pass on the material is from former Jericho writers Matthew Federman and Stephen Scaia. Vulture reports the studio is meeting with directors for the project.

Created and written by Vaughn, Y: The Last Man ran 60 issues and tells the story of a guy and his pet monkey — the only survivors of the apparent simultaneous death-by-plague of every male mammal on Earth.
