“Clones,” “Sith” Will See Back to Back 3-D Release

August 28, 2012 By Mike Hickerson 1 Comment

If you can’t wait to see Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith in 3-D, we’ve got good news and bad news.

First the bad news–you’ll have to wait until the fall of 2013 to see the new 3-D conversion of Clones and Sith.  The good news is the films will open back-to-back in theaters.

Attack of the Clones 3D will open Sept. 20, followed three weeks later by Revenge of the Sith.

Lucasfilm made the announcement Monday on the Star WarsFacebook page.

Earlier this year, Lucas and Fox released Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace in 3D to solid results. The rerelease grossed $43.5 million domestically and $59.3 million overseas for a total $102.8 million.

Ugh, not another 3D release. I hate 3D, they can keep their blurry vision.
