The long in development big screen adaptation of Neuromancer may finally be getting closer to becoming a reality–and the movie may have found its stars.
According to Movie Hole, the lead role of computer hacker Henry Dorsett Case has been offered to Mark Walhberg. Citing an unnamed source close to the film, the site also says that Liam Neeson is reportedly up for the role of the shadowy ex-soldier Armitage.
According to the site, neither actor has accepted the role yet.
“Nobody has officially signed for the project, but the offers are on the table,” the source said.
Both actors would be on a “pay or play” deal according to the site, meaning that as long as they’re not the ones responsible for the film’s untimely demise, they’ll still get paid.
