The Avengers has been kind to the bank account of Robert Downey, Jr. As we reported a few weeks ago, the over one billion dollars in ticket sales world-wide have led the actor to a hefty pay day for the film.
And it appears one of his co-stars will enjoy the riches of the film.
According to the NY Post, actress Scarlett Johansson will also see a nice salary increase the next time she dons the skin-tight leather outfit of the Black Widow. Johansson will reportedly make $20 million for the Avengers sequel, making her the highest paid in Hollywood history. It inches out the record amount paid to Angelina Jolie for her work in The Tourist.
Of course, this makes us wonder how much Marvel will now have to pony up for the other actors involved in the sequel.
If they were smart they would make deals like RDJ’s.
