The villain for the upcoming RoboCop reboot has been cast and if you’re a TV fan, it’s a familar face.
Actor Hugh Laurie, who recently wrapped up eight years as Dr. Gregory House on the FOX series House, has been cast as “evil and ultra-rich CEO of Omnicorp, the company that makes RoboCop,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The remake will star Joel Kinnaman (The Killing) as the cyborg cop Alex Murphy, who cleans up the mean streets of Detroit. The film is based on the 1987 sci-fi classic.
Laurie will join Samuel L. Jackson (The Avengers) and Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight) in the cast.

Even Dr. House cannot cure my RAGE…
Kevin Heckman says
I had no plans to see this movie. The original RoboCop was fine. I will now almost certainly check it out. Hugh Laurie is awesome!
