Writer Damon Lindelof has been called in to re-write the script for the upcoming big-screen adaptation of World War Z.
If that last statement leaves you scratching your head, you’re not alone. According to reports, most of the movie was in the can and ready to be edited for its release date. But that was before Paramount pushed the film back from this Christmas to sometime next year and the film required “significant reshoots.”
Lindelof is being brought in to save the troubled projected, which is based the best-selling novel by Max Brooks. Brad Pitt stars in and is a producer for the film. Lindelof is reportedly focusing on the film’s third act for his re-writes.
