The second episode of season two of Game of Thrones was off just a bit in viewership, but it was still solid enough that an announcement for a second third season can’t be far off.
The second installment drew 3.8 million viewers Sunday evening, down only a bit from last week’s series high.
When the 11 p.m. encore is factored into the ratings, Game of Thrones drew 4.9 million viewers Sunday evening. That number will climb as DVR numbers, OnDemand figures and encore showings ratings are also factored into the equation.
