Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim are working on a script to bring Green Arrow to television. They’re working with Fringe writer Andrew Kreisberg on the project as well.
According to EW, the CW is close to ordering a pilot for the proposed series.
Justin Hartley, who played Green Arrow on Smallville, will not be involved with the new series.
No word yet on if this series will be a spin-off from the Smallville universe or not.
