The Hunger Games is one of the most anticipated new releases of the year.
Fans hungering to get their hands on tickets to the games can circle Monday, January 16th on their calendars. That’s when tickets for the first showings go on sale.
The film opens March 23.
For fans of the book, you’ll note that’s 74 days before the official release. The number 74 is significant because both the first book in the three-part tale, as well as this first film take place during the country of Panem’s 74th Annual Hunger Games.
I'm really looking forward to this movie. I'm not die hard enough to go out and purchase advance tickets though. Looking at the trailer, I have high hopes they stayed relatively close to the source material.
