Max Brooks’ World War Z is hitting movie theaters later this year and Paramount is already hoping it will be a success. So much of a success that the studio is considering making a trilogy of films based on the novel.
The LA Times reports that Paramount and director Marc Forester are looking at ways the novel could be a trilogy of films with Brad Pitt as the star. The report says Forester and Paramount think the potential series would have the “grounded realism” of the Bourne films or AMC’s The Walking Dead.
