I'm impressed and it gave me the chills, especially at the very end when they play Rue's song.
Wow, looks good. And I haven't read the books. I didn't even know it was science fiction; from the pics and descriptions I'd heard, I thought it was a high fantasy take on "Battle Royale".
Well, it's sorta "pseudo" science fiction - it's a future setting, and it involves a couple of sci-fi elements here and there like the hovercraft and some genetics, but mostly it's human bonding/relations story mixed in with wilderness survival. That said, even though it's not "very" sci-fi, it's a damned good book (just finished reading it a couple of days ago, actually).
