Cameron Sees "Fantastic Voyage" Reboot as a Doomed Love Story

Producer James Cameron says that when the reboot of Fantastic Voyage finally makes it to theaters, it will be something very different from what audiences expect.

Cameron tells Deadline he pitched an idea to director Shawn Levy to make Voyage a “doomed love story.”

And that Levy is apparently on board with this new take.

“I gave [Levy] my idea about how this should be turned into a love story and he’s really run with it,” Cameron says.

Cameron and Levy are about two-thirds of the way through the development phase on Fantastic Voyage, and Cameron’s thrilled with how it’s coming together.

Oh for God's sake... Does Cameron know how to do anything else except the "doomed love story" angle?

He should just stop with what he's doing and move on to an original project, and should this movie come out I can guarantee that I will NOT be going to see it nor will I watch it on home video!!!
