Mulder and Scully made the jump to the big-screen, so why not Frank Black?
Actor Lance Henriksen says that he believes the time is right for Millennium to make the jump to the big-screen. For those of you who don’t recall, Millennium was X-Files’ creator Chris Carter’s second series that ran on Fox for four seasons in the mid 90′s.
“We get it from all over the world,” Henriksen says. “People are clamoring for this thing. Chris Carter and Frank Spotnitz are interested, it’s just a matter of who’s going to step forward first and pull the trigger. It’s ready to be done, and there have been millions of cards and letters going into Fox, to the point where about six months ago they went, ‘Stop.’ And our answer to that was, ‘Double up.’ We’re trying to get them to crack and say, ‘OK, let’s take the meeting.’ Isn’t this a great way to do it? It’s all fan-based. I don’t call them fans, I call them the tribe. Tribe members. And they’ll all be in the front row when it happens. There are finished concepts, which is more important. The script is easy.”
Henriksen was also asked if he might reprise his role from Alien in the upcoming Prometheus. He responded that he hasn’t been contacted about the film but that he’d be interested if Ridley Scott called.

This would make me soooo happy. I am a big fan of Lance and Millennium. Whoo hoo!!!
