If you’re waiting for a port of Starcraft II on a console, it looks like it won’t happen. Blizzard confirmed they won’t pursue a console version of the PC game in the near future.
“I’m not saying it could never happen, but I don’t think a game like StarCraft II makes sense on a console,” senior designer Johnny Ebbert says. “We’d have to figure out a control scheme that works. Until a control scheme that really, really works comes out I just can’t see it happening.”
An expansion pack for the PC game is currently in the works and should hit stores early next year.

As an avid Starcraft II player, I'm ecstatic they aren't making a console version. RTS games don't translate well to consoles. It ends up being a watered down version that's twice as slow to play. Until they start letting us use mice and keyboards on a console, just keep it on the PC.
