For the second week in a row, The Help was the top money maker at the box-office.
The film took in $14.3 million and inched closer to the $100 million mark, holding off several new releases for the top spot.
Colombiana, the Zoe Saldana thriller beat all new films with $10.3 million, meeting most analysts’ modest expectations.
Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, the remake of the 1973 horror movie, took third place with $8.7 million.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes was fourth.
Our Idiot Brother, took a disappointing fifth place with $6.6 million.
