With filming underway in Cleveland, it looks like the identity of one of the villains of The Avengers has got out.

From the coda to Thor, we knew that Loki would figure into next year’s Avengers. But we also heard rumors that wouldn’t be the only threat causing the team to assemble.
Now set visitors and photos indicate the Skrulls will be invading Earth in the upcoming film.
Pictures from the set seem to indicate Skrull weapons on the scene and some set visitors have reported seeing people costumed as the aliens.
Of course, nothing is confirmed yet. But it sounds like it’s probably happening.
