The master of Craster’s Keep, which lies beyond the Wall, maintains an uneasy detente with the Night’s Watch. Craster has nineteen wives and Jon Snow and Sam will discover a few things about him and his Keep when they begin to dig a bit deeper.
Craster first appears in A Clash of Kings, the second book in the series. Hannah Murray was recently cast as Gilly, one of the women living with Old Craster who wants to escape his oppression.
