Buffy-verse creator Joss Whedon says that fans who tuned out of the season eight in the comic books may want to consider returning when the comic book series kicks off for season nine.
Whedon admitted that season eight didn't quite live up to his expectations and that he and the rest of the creative team may have done too many things just because they could do them on the comic book page.

While 3-D may have had a stay of execution with the success of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, that doesn't mean some in Hollywood see it as being around for the long-term.
