Next "Trek" Won't Start Shooting Until January

Looks like we won't get another voyage of the starship Enterprise next summer after all.

Although Paramount Pictures has still not officially scrapped that release date for the sequel to J.J. Abrams' smash 2009 franchise reboot, writers Alex Kurtzman and Bob Orci more or less confirmed that the next Star Trek will not be ready for next summer.

Darabont Steps Down from "Walking Dead"

Producer Frank Darabont is stepping down from AMC's The Walking Dead.

The Hollywood Reporter says that it's not clear whether or not Darabont will have any involvement with the series after he steps down. He served as show runner in season one and directed the pilot episode.
