Snake Plissken may still try to Escape from New York, but it won’t be for New Line.
The studio has dropped its reboot of the John Carpenter directed classic.
With New Line deciding to pass, that means the rights to reboot the original are back up for grabs. So it could only be a matter of time until another studio decides to take a crack at a reboot.
