Transformers: Dark of the Moon held onto the box office crown this weekend and became the biggest hit of the year. The third installment in the series took in $47 million on its way to number one for the second week.
In second place was the new release Horrible Bosses with $28.1 million. Third place went to Zookeeper with $21 million.
Cars 2 and Bad Teacher rounded out the top five.

Maybe the biggest film so far. By the end of the week, that will change. Transformers won't even be the biggest film of the month.
Unfortanately, "Transformers" is still big enough to get a fourth installment. YIKES!!
Why do so many people keep Michael Bay employed? I guarantee that if people stop going to see his big piles of crap he'll stop making them.
Well it was certainly de-throned by Harry Potter as far as being the biggest movie of the year... I certainly hope that Michael Bay is eating his own hat right now!!!
