Comcast and Skype have signed an agreement to bring Skype into your living room. In order to use the service, you'll need some new equipment including a set-top camera and a special texting-friendly remote control. The internet connection will be powered by our existing cable box, which will also host the Skype software.

Disjointed storytelling detracts from solid voice casting and some stunning visuals.

When news broke that a Green Lantern movie was coming to the silver screen, the on-line casting couch targeted actor Nathan Fillion as someone who might make a good candidate for the lead role. One enterprising fan even went so far to create a trailer with Fillion as Hal Jordan.

Alas, it wasn't to be and Warner Brothers and DC cast Ryan Reynolds instead.

"Star Wars" 3-D Remastering May Be Cut Short

Turns out we may only get Jar-Jar in 3-D.

LucasFilm producer Rick McCallum says that while the original plan was to convert all six Star Wars films into 3-D, the project may be cut short and only apply to one movie. And that movie is Star Wars: Episode I-- The Phantom Menance.

We Won't Get A Full Season of "Doctor Who" Next Year

Fans who rejoiced when the BBC ordered 14 more episodes of Doctor Who earlier this year may feel like our next story is a dash of cold water.

BBC Controller Danny Cohen said this week that we won't get a full season of stories in 2012. Cohen said the 14 episodes picked up would only air a few of the new season year and then save the rest for 2013. For those of you keeping track at home, that means we won't get a full season of the greatest genre series ever made as it celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2013.

McCallum Clears Up "Star Wars" TV Show Rumors

Remember a couple of weeks ago when we reported that there were 50 hours of the new Star Wars TV series filmed and ready to go?
