Feeling Smurfy?
Sony wants you to share that with the world on June 25. The studio has declared that day Smurf Day and its encouraging fans to get out and show their Smurf love by dressing up as your favorite Smurfy character.
Sony wants people to gather in cities around the world, including New York, dressed as Smurfs: white hat, white pants and shoes, body painted blue.
The goal is to set a Guinness record in the very specific category of “Largest Gathering of People Dressed as Smurfs Within a 24-hour Period — Multiple Venue.”
The move is being done to promote the release of the live-action version of “The Smurfs” which hits theaters on July 29.
PLEASE tell me there is already a record for this!
