Not one but two directors have walked away from genre projects in the last several days.
Director Albert Hughes has decided to part ways with the live-action version of Akira and David O. Russell has left the big-screen adaptation of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune.
No word yet on who might replace these two in the director’s chair.



















Either Matthew Vaughn or Martin Campbell needs to step up and direct Uncharted, and then all it needs is Nathan Fillion to make it perfect.
Drop Akira all the way, all they'll do is screw it up anyhow.
