Actor Bill Nighy is in conversations to join the cast of the reboot of Total Recall.
Nighy would join Colin Farrell and Bryan Cranston in the reboot of the 1990′s action film.
Nighy will play Quatto, the leader of the resistance. (In the 1990 movie, the character, called Kuato, was played by Marshall Bell with the conceit that the leader was actually a small mutant living off the human.)

Not sure what to expect from this movie. I mean, the old one was cool, what can they do beside updating the special effects?
With Cranston & Nighy now in it the film has moved up a couple of notches in my "will see" category.
My fear is that they will *totally* remove the aspect that the whole thing was in Quaid's head. In the first film it was there .. if you looked close, it was the only thing that made sense .. but it was shot with the intent to give viewers the option of thinking is was "real".
I like Bill Nighy, but I just have a bad feeling that this is going to be a massive *fail*!!!
