The space shuttle Endeavour took off on its final mission yesterday.
And Stefanie Gordon of Hoboken, N.J captured the moment from the window of her commercial flight yesterday.
Gordon took three pictures and a short video of the shuttle launch.
“It’s awe inspiring. I would never expect to be that close,” Gordon tells MSNBC “I didn’t grasp the magnitude until after the fact.”
The pictures have made her a celebrity.
“I’ve been retweeted by NASA, The Weather Channel. … I can’t even keep up with my friends! It’s really overwhelming. I just got off the plane and tweeted what I saw,” she says.
