The network upfronts don’t occur until next week but I have a pretty fair idea of what will stay and which programs will be going to that great schedule in the sky, and which shows currently remain on the bubble. I’ve looked into my crystal ball and here is what I have forseen.
ABC:
Canceled: – No Ordinary Family
Bubble: – V
Renewed: – Castle
CBS:
Canceled: $#x! My Dad Says
Bubble: Two and a Half Men; and this may be hard to believe – The Mentalist
Renewed: Big Bang Theory
The CW:
Canceled: No crystal ball needed here. After a very successful 10 year run – Smallville. It airs its series finale on Friday, May 13.
Bubble: Vampire Diaries
Renewed: Supernatural
FOX:
Canceled: Human Target (this is a big mistake on FOX’s part)
Bubble: Lie To Me; Breaking In; American Idol
Renewed: Every animated show on Sunday night; Fringe; Bones & House
NBC:
Canceled: The Cape (already canceled); The Event
Renewed: I’m going out on a limb here & predicting that Chuck will be given another 13 episodes
Remember these are simply my own personal predictions. The actual upfronts will occur as follows -
ABC – May 17, 2011
CBS – May 18, 2011
CW – May 19, 2011
FOX – May 16, 2011
NBC – May 16, 2011

Let's hope that V goes away. Such a bad show. I'm also happy to see the Event go away. Each week I watch, each week I'm in pain.
V is frustrating. I want to love the show and its an ok show. But, it never seems to try to live up to its potential. The Finale was great, particularly with Marc Singer. I want it renewed just for that reason. Finally, Erica's son was dispatched!
As much as I love Chuck, I'm thinking it's fate is 50/50.
It's already cut as much budget as it can and the current hope that they'd get 13 more episodes to get closer to 100 episodes for syndication seems a bit shaky. If the show were made by NBC/Universal and they'd reap the rewards, I could see it.
I still want more Chuck...I'm just trying not to get my hopes up too high and see them dashed.
I actually grew to like No Ordinary Family. It got better and I hoped they would become a family of superheroes working together on missions. And now with ***Spoiler Alert*** their friends getting powers, awesome!
I liked what The Cape tried to do and I love Human Target. I hope Human Target gets a third year. I really am enjoying the addition of the female cast members.
House gets another season??? What a waste...
I originally loved Human Target, but the show went in an odd direction for its second season and that is when it lost me. Bringing in some new characters, not to mention altering one of the more popular secondary characters as well, really did me in and I couldn't watch it anymore.
You say cancelling "Human Target" is a mistake. I disagree. Unless they get rid of Ilsa, I wan't be watching any longer. I loved the show until she joined.
I agree. Human Target under the showrunner Matt Miller became unwatchable. Cancelling it is the reasonable choice.
