The season premiere of Doctor Who was a big one.
It was one of the most watched shows for the week in the UK and in America the premiere set a ratings record for BBC America.
The debut of “The Impossible Astronaut” drew 1.28 million viewers Saturday evening and snagged a 0.92 rating in the 25-54 demographic on BBC America.
The network was up 71,000 viewers from its previous high, set by last season’s Doctor Who debut in April.

Not surprising...BBC America has had some of the best shows on TV for a few years now....good to see more and more people are checking them out.
