Oscar nominated actor Geoffrey Rush is being courted by Green Lantern producers to add his voice to the role of Tomar-Re, reports the Hollywood Reporter.
Tomar-Re, in comics lore, was a scientist before joining the intergalactic police corps where he was instrumental in training new members. The character helps train Hal Jordan, being portrayed by Ryan Reynolds in the movie.
The movie is in its finishing stages, preparing for a June 17th release. Adding voice actors at this stage is nothing new for a project like this one.
