Ok, that officially looks cool now. Though when is this suppossed to take place, because the kid has a Space Shuttle poster on his wall? I will have to look and see when that particular poster came out, but I remember having that one in the eighties, though it might be one that was released before the first launch. Given that Enterprise rolled out in 1976, and flew in 1977, that gives the real window on when this movie takes place, after 1976, we will have to see.
This has a real Close Encounters Of The 3rd Kind vibe.

That looked pretty good. And yes, that poster came out in 1978: the artist was Barron Storey. I had a copy of it on my wall growing up. If I'm remembering correctly, I got it free with a subscription to an astronomy magazine that was geared towards kids called Odyssey.
