The first ever “Peanuts” graphic novel will soon be hitting stores soon.
Based on the upcoming new animated feature film featuring Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the rest of the gang created by Charles M. Schultz, the graphic novel will be an adaptation of the movie.
Kaboom! will publish the tie-in, “Happiness is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown.”
The film will be based on existing work by the original creator Charles M. Schulz and adapted as a comic by his son Craig and Stephan Pastis. It will be illustrated by Bob Scott, Vicki Scott and Ron Zorman in the traditional Peanuts style.
The book will hit stores in March.

“based on existing work”.
sounds a lot like “based on a true story”.
sounds a lot more like capitalizing on a dead man’s reputation.
I think I’ll sit this one out. After all, the quote is “Happiness is a warm puppy”. It’s in Bartlett’s Familiar Quotations. Look it up.

Woohoo! Give me two magnets to stick on either end of Charles Schultz’s grave, and we’ll generate enough spin to power Manhattan!
